Ninjas in Pyjamas have managed to defeat Anexis 2-0 (16-3, 16-8) to win the Nordic ESWC 2012 qualifier which earned them a paid trip to the finals in Paris in three weeks.
NiP came into the qualifier as heavy favorites and once again delivered, as they have still yet to lose a map after switching to CS:GO. After defeating AfterShock Crushed and hiGhrollers they qualified for ESWC by defeating team X 2-0 yesterday.
HastaLaVista, known as Anexis as of today, came in with 7th seed and took down Afterlife Gaming and WinFakt before qualifying for ESWC with a 2-0 victory over gosu.
All that was left was to determine who would win a paid trip to Paris as opposed to just a spot, and of course the glory of winning what many consider the toughest qualifier for ESWC.

The Swedes were dominant on de_train_se as they went up 12-1 as Counter-Terrorists before surrendering two in a row. It made no difference though, as Anexis couldn't score a round in the second half and the map ended with a lopsided 16-3 score.
Second map was de_inferno_se where NiP extended their lead to 8-1 before Anexis scored three in a row. The Danes would get the last round, but NiP once again led with a double digit score after first half.
Next half saw Anexis win their first pistol round allowing them to get a quick 3-0 lead, but NiP's terrorist play was solid and they cruised to six straight rounds with Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund clutching the final round for a 16-8 win.
